Help to decide on Lasik enhancement

Having had acrysof toric lenses implanted about a year ago (dominant right eye to 20/20 and left eye to 20/150) for blended vision, i still find i get a slight blur when viewing distance, mid range and close to read...

My doctor tried an experiment and put in a contact in the left eye which would bring it up to 20/100...Then everything is sharp for distance and mid range but for close i would need to hold things further away (not as muhc as if he made it 20/20 but to the point where to do any real reading i'd need to use the readers)...

I had him give me a prescription for glasses that would match this "experiment" and results have been exactly the same...

He would do the enhancement using lasik touchup...would this work well? any drawbacks to this procedure?  Also, i have had floaters for many years now...any chance this would worsen after a lasik procedure?
Would this be the best way to do this? (i imagine my doctor feels that an explant would not be a good way to go for a small correction)...

Yes,  also consider PRK for a small correction. Less dryness and safer.  LASIK may change the amount of floaters due to the suction during the creation of the flap.
