Fish egg bubbles after vitrectomy

I had vitrectomy with gas bubble 4 months ago (no buckle) to fix a retinal dettachment.

The big gas bubble took about 3 months to clear from my vision but since then, when i look up, i see a lot of 'fish egg' little bubbles. When i look down, my vision gets blurry. If i look to front (head straight) the vision clear up and i can't see the bubbles.

My surgeon says they are probably residual gas and he doesn't know  if they will dissipate and doesn't recommend new surgery to remove them.

Looks like these little bubbles are located in the bottom of my eye. If they are gas, shouldn't they be on the top of the eye instead of the bottom ?

Besides the bubbles bothering when i look up, can i have any problems in long term by leaving this residual gas on my eye ?
