Post Vitrectomy HELP

I was diagnosed a month ago with a macular hole in my right Last week I had to have a Vitrectomy surgery were they remove your lens and SUCK  (yes I said suck) the vitreous gel out of you eye that has caused the hole. They repair the hole and insert a gas bubble in you eye and put your lens back. You must remain in a face down position for TWO weeks. By being face down the bubble applies pressure to the macular keeping it In place until it heals. The bubble stays in your eye for two months until it is absorbed. Right now everything is blurry but as the bubble gets smaller you will see better. It has been twee weeks since my surgery and from the first day I have seen two concentric grey circles in the center of my eye which stay in the center of my vision even when I move my eye in a different direction.
I sometimes can see the image with my eye closed. The image covers the actual image I should be seeing like Keres in words will be hidden by the conentric  circles.
The doctor is puzzled and even looked through the bubble to make sure hole was healed an it is.  She said everything looks great but dopes not know what the imag is  Can also be seen somethings direction with m y closed.

The image does move when I look somewhere else but always in the center.

Then that would indicate you they are arising from your macula.

The vitreous is actually cut first then aspirated (sounds better than sucked) out of the eye.  There are a lot of posts here by people that have had SF6 or other long acting gas or air put in their eye. The symptoms are varied and bizzard. You can access them with the search feature on this page. Depending on the size of the macular hole, how deep it is and the success of the surgery normal vision is usually NOT obtained although the eye often sees better. Since the image not move with the eye it is not the macula. It is likely the bubble causing it. Cannot offer any other insights to your observations.
