Fluorescent Lighting and my eyes?

I just bought and aquarium for me and my daughter and the light seems to be quite bright!  It is an Aqueon 8000k Light.  Can this damage the eyes or do anything long term or is it 100% safe?

No fluorescent lighting is not bad for the eye. A  very few people claim it bothers them  but others are bother by: sunlight, candle light, LED lighting, incandescent lighting, campfire light, halogen light.

You can't make all the people happy all the time.

Can fluorescent lighting be bad for the eyes especially if it is like sunlight?

Aqueon® T-8 Full Spectrum Daylight Fluorescent Lamp

It is supposed to have full spectrum daylight so I am assume it gives off some UV but I dont know if it is safe or not?
