Experts and Drs please

Hi,
in the last 6 weeks i had the following event 3 times:
i woke up at night ounce, with a huge and very strong inability to breath that lasted for around 30 seconds  and a huge pain in the eyes, feeling that my eyes are going out from the pain, and lasted for 1 or 2 minutes max.
3 weeks after , i had the same exactly
another 2 weeks i had it again but the eyes is much worse than before, lasted for more than 4 to 5 hours , the first 30 minutes of it was the worse, i couldnt even move cause moving will cause my head moving, not able to move my head at all from the pain, any touch in my body or any step i walk was killing my eyes from pain.
i have had a very very very stressful period before this start to show, very little sleep (2-3 hours a day) staying on computer more than 16-17 hours sometimes a day, stress at work and many problems. could this be the reason ? i contacted my Dr. he said its nothing to worry about and didnt recommend any kind of test.
Please advice,
thanks a lot
Tony

neuralgia is "nerve pain" there are some disease that cause facial pain that may be centered behind or around the eyes. You know what the sinuses are the air spaces in the forehead, cheeks and between the eyes. If they get blocked inflammed or infected it can cause pain such as you describe.

thank you for your prompt reply Dr.
i am 30 years old i forgot to mention it.
it wasnt a headache Dr, just eyes alone, and i dont think i had a fever as well, its just the eyes feeling them so painful as i mentioned above.
1- i dont live in the usa and my english is not so well, what is a facial neralgias?
2- what is a sinus pathology?

waht the cause can be ? nervous issues ? can it be an infection from a certain infection ?
Thanks again

WEll yes I would be worried if that happened to me. See an ophthalmologist Eye MD. If you live in the USA find one near you at www.aao.org.

If its not your eye then you may need to see a neurologist if it persists. It could be facial neuralgias, migraine, cluster headaches, sinus pathology.
