I just experienced this halo around lights at night for the very first time tonight. It's so bad that I could not drive tonight unless I closed the affected left eye. I will make an appt to see an eye doctor ASAP and will post any findings.

Ok I'm having an eye problem . I suffering from allergies really bad and now I'm seeing a rainbow halo in my right eye its bothering me and I can't drive at night because the lights from the on coming cars make the rainbow halo worse what and why am I going blind?...tara
Ok you need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist. Ask your family MD to refer you. If you live in USA find one near you at www.geteyesmart.org A common cause of this are cataracts.

Thank doc I do have good news I guess because of my year round allergy problem my eyes just keep crying that the halo effect happened . It did go away. But I'm just tired of my eyes crying my eyes are so soar. I tried everything benadryll, eye drops it just doesn't stop.
