Halo around lights in one eye

I have read on the web reports of people seeing halos around lights. But I have not seen anyone relate that it occurs with only one eye.  While driving at night I see a halo around lights in my right eye, but not my left.  I have recently had pressure tests and glaucoma tests.  No problems show up. What could cause this?

There are many causes: to name a few glaucoma, corneal problems, cataracts, retinal and macular problems, needing glasses. See an Eye MD ophthalmologist. Find one at www.aao.org

I just experienced this halo around lights at night for the very first time tonight.  It's so bad that I could not drive tonight unless I closed the affected left eye.  I will make an appt to see an eye doctor ASAP and will post any findings.

Ok you need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist. Ask your family MD to refer you. If you live in USA find one near you at www.geteyesmart.org   A common cause of this are cataracts.
