Horseshoe tear with fluid

My doctor said that I have a small horseshoe tear with fluid at the 11 position. I have no symptoms. What is the chance of this resulting in a retinal detachment without lasering? I have a history of open globe trauma 1 1/2 years ago but surgery was successful. Subsequent vitreous hemorrhage but no other issues. Thank you!

That question cannot be answered by a generalization. Your previous history of trauma, surgery, vitreous hemmorhage puts you hat higher risk. Either follow your surgeon's advice or get a second opinion from another retina/vitreous surgeon

Understood. Thank you for your feedback. I do have an excellent doctor. Just trying to figure out if it could wait for treatment, since he cannot recommend that course of action. Thank you again!
You are welcome and best of luck.
