How does blood loss effect the eyes?

I had had a minor accident where my forearm was punctured. As a result I lost some blood, enough to make me feint. I didn't fall as I was sitting when I fainted. I woke up lying on my side, the bleeding was over. I could easily wake up and call for help and the wound was stitched.
Note my glasses bent as I bumped to the side.
I had somewhat blurred vision for a couple of days after the incident. This ws 3 years ago.
I visited an ophthalmologyst who made a dilated exam and OCT, all was fine, but this exams were recently.

Do you think this sort of blood loss could damage the eyes? I could wake up and walk by myself, no dizzyness or slurred speech whatsoever. I was just somewhat paler and had tachycardia for about a day.
I didn't need transfusion either.
I was 20, male.
Thank you for the reply.

No I do not think it would have damaged your eye at all.  Profound blood loss where people almost die, go into shock and require multiple units of blood transfused can have damage but you were not even close to that scenario.

Thank you for your answer, Doctor. Do you think the blurred vision was due to dilated pupils? Which could have been caused by being scared and the tachycardia?
And (to be on the safe side), would those exams, OCT and dilated eye exam detect the damage, should it have happened?
Vision is often blurred after head trauma,   a medical eye exam by an ophthalmologist with macular and nerve fiber layer OCT should detect any damage.  If you haven't had one it would be worth it if just for peace of mind.
I had no head trauma, I just tilted to the side while sitting and my shoulders were too broad for my head to reach the ground. I had an OCT and a dilated exam recently, but all was fine.
Then move on with your life
