I believe i have a piece of glass in my eye that Drs(plural) cant seem to find.

About a year ago i was fixi g my sons tablet, and the screen cracked while i was working on it. I felt something strike my eye, and felt it as i closed my eye. There was substantial pain. I went to a emercency medical place, they washed my eye, and said i had a corneal scratch. Said if it bothered me still in a couple days, to see an eye Dr. 3 days of torture went by and i sought out an eye Dr. He did not find any foreign object, but said i was having an allergic reaction and put me on alrex. A day later i was back at Dr because my eye was on fire. He switched me to lotemax and said i might have been sensitive to alrex. Several days passed with no relief. I sought a second opinion, and was told they could not find any foreign object, but my eye was in distress and dry, so i was told to contunue lotemax, and use gel drops. Weeks go by and still no relief, i still have pain(pinching/peircing sensation above eye, and general all over eye discomfort). I stop taking lotemax on suggestion of EMT neighbor. Eye calms down and now just have piercing/pinching pain only. I go see another Dr. He listens to story, looks at eye, puts me on Prednisone. Weeks pass, still pain. Call several times, finally get an appointment again. Looks at eye, prescribes cat scan. Have no idea what scan looked at, but says all looks good, keep on with Prednisone. Month goes by, still pain. Next Dr. This Dr again dyes eye, does not see anything other than eye is in distress(bloodshot, some lump she seemed vaguely concerned with), story is told, now im on BePreve, been so for 2 months now. Still pain....

Im at a loss, it is absolutely maddening. It has almost been a year now with a sensation of something stuck under my eye, and a pinching poking pain in my eye. Is there a term of specialist i should be looking up? These are just eye Drs, are there Drs that soecialize in finding foreign objects in eye? Someone PLEASE have so.e suggestions.....

Thanks
