I have a dry eyes with a lot of discharge. What could be causing this?

So, when I wake up I have a lot of crusting on my lower lashes and where my tear ducts are. My eyes are also really red when I wake up but clear up within around half an hour. There's also pressure above and below my eyes throughout the day, and my eyes are regularly dry and start gooping up. Blowing my nose helps relieve these symptoms, but only for like a minute. I'm also using Afrin for severe congestion, which only seems to reduce the pressure for a half an hour or so, but helps get rid of the dryness and gooping.
