I have sparkle vision.

For the past 10 months, I have been experiencing what I call sparkle vision in both eyes at the same time.  I can best describe it as the sparkles that you see on some Christmas cards.  The first time it happened was in September on a sunny day.  The next time was in January on a clear sunny snowy day.  My “sparkle vision”  added extra sparkles to the pristine snow.  Since then I have experienced this once every couple of weeks.  It lasts less than a minute.  Should I be worried?

I am female,  67 and in good health.  I take .88 mg thyroxin,  I am 10 pounds overweight.  My blood pressure last time was 135/90 which is high for me.  I am usually under 120/80.  Sometimes my eyes are dry as is my skin and hair.

You see an EyeMD for an exam. Your symptoms are not clear to me.  It could be a cataract as mentioned above or a retinal problem.

I think you have cataract problem.

Cataract problem is the most common eye disease which people are facing today. This problem is mainly caused by the clouding of the natural lens of the eye.
