Induced eye pain by blowing air into the nose

As I mentioned elsewhere (http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Ear--Nose--Throat/Blowing-air-into-the-nose/show/1583515) I blew air into my nose using a vacuum cleaner exhause hose for treating an ear problem. After that my eyes seemed to pop (twitched) and then I had what I thought was a headache, which later has come to be centered around both eyes. What could I have done?

This is a "one of a kind" injury and its not possible to generalize. Recommend you see your personal physician for evaluation.

I've got fresh fears. How about the brain? Could the air I pumped in have caused pressure imbalance in the brain? I'm asking because since that incident, whenever I get up in the morning there is this headache and then it diminishes as I move on. There is also a general tiredness and drowsiness. Could be a coincidence, I'm not sure.

Yes the nose and throat are connected via the tear duct and tear sac.

Leave the whole mechanical ear popping behind. That is so bizzare.

There is connection from the nose/throat cavity to the tear ducts?
I have seen the claims of no side-effects from the device called "Earpopper" which also blows air into the nose using a battery powered motor. But it is so costly so I thought I better use a vacuum cleaner exhaust...
Thankfully today my pain is gone.

quite doctoring yourself before you do major damage. Air was probably forced into your tear ducts into the tear sac and possibly into soft tissue. This is a good way to get a huge orbital cellulitis which can require hospital treatment.

See an ophthalmologist and an ENT doctor.
