Info about sceritis needed

Hi, I am 30 yrs old and I was diagnosed with scleritis 2 years ago. I have since been dianosed with PCOS and undergoing treatment with glucophage/metformin. I am also being treated for hypertension.

Since the treatment for the PCOS  began, my breakouts with the Scleritis have decreased. However, when I'm not taking the metformin, I almost immediately get scleritis attacks.
Does anyone know if there is a connection with the two? Also is there a way to remove the swelling in the white of my eye? it is lingering longer than usual and my vision is affected. Thanks so much for your kind assistance.

I am not aware of a connection.  You need steroids drops for the scleritis.
