"Does this really work?"
It entirely depends on what you mean by "work." If you mean "permanently eliminate your need for glasses", then no. It doesn't work. Corneal molding, or ortho-k, is not permanent. If you mean "give you clear vision without daytime glasses or contacts", then maybe, depending on your prescription and motivation. There are some patients who are not candidates for LASIK that are candidates for Corneal Molding.
All procedures have some risk. LASIK and Corneal Molding included. I would encourage you to do your homework and talk to as many people as possible. Read as much clinical research on the safety and effectiveness as you can get. If a doctor says you are a candidate, ask them what research exists that says you are. If a doctor says you are not a candidate, ask them what research exists that says why not.
