Itchy tear ducts only at bedtime.

My tear ducts start to itch as soon as i close my eyes to go to sleep and when i awake in the morning the tear ducts are inflammed and irratated. Im on FML and systane and it is helping as i use to get these symptoms during the day and now i only get them at night. However the night issues dont seem to be easing at all. Could this be a form of dry eye? What else could i try to eleviate the problems i am having?

I forgot to mention occasionally i get a very small amount of a white coloured discharge from the tear duct and from just under the bottom eye lid.

FML is a steroid and not good to be on for long times. See another Eye MD ophthalmologist for a second opinion. These symptoms are not typical of dryeyes.
