Hi, I had laser surgery a few days ago to repair a torn retina - since then, I have been experiencing light sensitivity, headaches, dry eye and nausea. Will all this go away over time? I was fine before the surgery. Thanks for any input.
Thank you - that would be the best approach to rule out any complications.
I actually was finally able to get in to get checked and was put on Lotemax with much improvement. Eyes were very inflamed but doc felt it wasn't related to the surgery. Hmmmm.
Well the most important thing is getting back in. Lotemax is a steroid so your improvement is surely due to the reduction in inflammation which assuredly was surgery related.
No that is not normal and I would suggest you try and contact your surgeon today and speak with him/her or whoever is on call and at least get in tomorrow for them to examine your eye as this is not typical and might indicate a complication.
Thank you. I've called three times - the first response I received were migraines. The third time I suggested it could be from the Prolensa drops, so doc said to stop them. No improvement. I will call back one more time and insist I be seen. Thank you for your response.
