I'm considering getting another opinion on my epiretinal membrane at Univ of Wisconsin with Dr. Justin Gottlieb. Any info on him would be appreciated.
I don't know him personally. The Dept has a good reputation.
I'm thinking maybe I should seek out the "best"as to help me make the decision for surgery on my mac pucker. I've narrowed down to these two: Dr. Steve Charles, Memphis (10 hours away) or Dr. Timothy Olsen, Mayo, formerly Emory, (3 hours away). I'm willing to travel to get the answers I need. Any thoughts?
I know them both. You can't make a bad choice. Had breakfast with Dr. Olsen a year or two ago.  I trained at Emory.  Maybe which ever is easiest to get to back and forth.
Thanks. Good to know. Mayo is definitely closer.
Bingo.  Ask Dr. Olsen if he remembers going to lunch at Corner Cafe in Riverside MO with Dr. Hagan and Dr. Olsen's brother.
Will do. :)
