MEWDS question for Dr. O

I had MEWDS in my L eye about a year and half ago which resolved after about a month or so.  Lately I have occasionally had flashing lights in my peripheral vision and one day everything seen out of my L eye was a shade redder and darker than everything out of my right.  Neither of these things last very long when they occur and I've only noticed the differences in shades between eyes once.  The flashing lights occur maybe a couple of times a week for the past month or so.  Is this likely from the MEWDS and does it mean I'm going to have another episode of it?

I thought that flashing lights was very common with MEWDS?  Flashes where the first symptom I had when I had MEWDS before.

MEWDS is a macular problem and would not be associated with flashes of lights.  This needs to be checked and may be due to a posterior vitreous detachment.  The color difference may due to residual macular damage in the left eye.
