Is surgery absolutely needed

What would happen If cataracts were not removed

It is impossible to judge how fast a cataract will become "too hard" and difficult to remove surgically or "too ripe" and cause inflammation or glaucoma in the eye.

I should re-phrase that question.Sorry Dr Hagan.

What I meant to  say is if they  they are mature now the catarcts.How long could I put off having surgery without hurting my eyes
