Scleral Buckle

I Had buckle about six months ago and vision is fine.  I continue to have debris and intermitent dull achy pain, relieved by cold and watering of the eyes.  Surgeon thinks its dry eye and  my eye is sensitive to most tear drops, even preservative free.

When do we know buckle is too tight? What are signs and symptoms??

Any other possible concerns??

I doubt your symptoms are due to too tight a scleral buckle.  A scleral buckle with not remove the debris in your eyes.  The dull ache may be due to a refractive change and anisometropia.
