high myopia potential complications

I never knew what high myopia was....just knew I was "blind", went to the eye doc, and got my contacts. Now that I know more, I'm petrified of my future (30y female OS -6.0, OD -7.25). I was symptom free until I got pregnant and developed the worst cobweb like floaters that are really annoying. My questions are:
1-do eye vitamins help?
2-is tilted disc common in myopia?
3-is scleral crescent common in myopia?
4-are all high myopes pathological?
5-odds of developing myopic mac deg?
6-saw retinal doc...said +floaters but no PVD.....is this caused by pregnancy? will it improve?

1. Not with myopia. Helps reduce risk of macular degeneration. Read the blog on Today's Pulse I wrote on prevention of macular degeneration
2. Yes and not a problem
3. Same answer as above
4. No most have no disease and see normal with glasses or contacts
5. Depends on your family history and how long you live. Read article I describe in 1
6. No floaters are caused by age and myopia. By age 50 half of all people have floaters. Use the search feature and archives to read about floaters and PVD also high myopia.
