My friend had 20/60 in the right eye, and 20/300 in the left eye, with corrective lenses. Amblyopia since birth, and legally blind, to now age 56. Two months ago she began doing two simple eye exercises she learned on a web site. Last week, with corrective lenses her vision is now 20/20 and 20/60 respectively.
AND her eyes now travel together. Where as before her left eye saw only what haloed around it, it now sees what is in front of it, with no blockage.
The exercises are called the ferris wheel and the pendulum.
If it can reverse seriously bad amblyopia at age 56, any age should give it a try.
That is only your glasses RX. Tells nothing about your vision. LIke trying to determine how much someone weighs from their shoe size.
It's very unlikely you are any where near legally blind since that refers to best corrected vsion in the BEST eye
Know that there is a 20% chance your children will have the same problem. CHeck all children immediaately if eye problem seen otherwise by a pediatric ophthalmologist at age 3
