Blepharitis or severe dry eye treatment

After cataract surgery and Restor IOLs about 1-1/2 years ago, my eyes became very dry. I have been using Restatis for about 15 months which may have helped a little, but about 8 or 9 months ago, my doctor put in punctal plugs. They seem to have helped a good bit, but I have had problems keeping them in...had to get them replaced several times. A couple weeks ago, I was to have the cautery of the ducts since I couldn't keep the plugs in. When I went in to have this, the doctor said my eyes didn't look that dry, but that I have blepharitis. He said he didn't need to do the cautery nor put in more plugs. He gave me Azasite to use for a week and then a neomycin ointment to use at night after that. My eyes are worse now than they were when I went to see him, and are burning and scratchy and my vision is worse, even with readers. I don't know if I should ask the doctor again for the cautery or plugs or just look for another doctor. I'm just tired of my eyes hurting all the time.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thank you. I couldn't find anything that recent (went back several days), but did find something from this past April that has a lot of information that will hopefully be helpful. I appreciate your help.
