Repositioned IOL and vision still poor

Had a Toric IOL installed in left eye.  Vision still poor and test indicate lens needed to be repositioned.  Second surgery reposition IOL, vision still fuzzy.  Tests still indicate an astigmatism.   May need a third surgery to replace IOL with new prescription.  My question: Is a third surgery considerd safe or are the chances of complications higher because of the previous surgeries?

We're going in a circle. Only your surgeon can quantitate the risk/benefit ratio for your surgery including lasik.

For most people a toric contact lens would be an option although many people have trouble wearing/inserting/cleaning etc and glasses are often required over the contact.

Discussed with surgeon the out come of respostioning the IOL and all options.  Surgeon did not want to go back inside the eye but did suggest,  lasik surgery to reshape cornea and remove the astigtism that the toric IOL could not remove and do this at no cost to me to .  My question is how safe an sucessful is the lasik proceedure?  I will still need glasses to read and drive at night.  Could a toric contact lense  be an option after catarack surgery?

Only the surgeon could tell you how "safe" it is. Generally the more surgeries have been done the more difficult and long the recovery. Also there is no guarentee than surgery can restore the type of vision you hope far. Discuss at length with the surgeons.
