Restore Lens and Dry Eye

I am confused, b/c just until the recent years(when I had to have reading glasses) I have never worn glasses. When I had cataract surgery, I opted for Restore lens with the hope of not needing any glasses.

Surgery was done in the fall and now 5 months later one eye is giving me extreme light sensitivity and watering.  Tfhe dr. put me on Restasis and drops.  Tried temporary plugs and when they melted my condition got worse.  Now one dr. wants to put pemanent plugs in, went to a world reknown hospital and head of eye dept. said they are a foreign body, don't do it.

Here I worn only reading glasses, spent thousands for the Restore and told that I should try wearing glasses to correct a stigmatism.  My vision is 20/40 consistently.

Please offer your thoughts.
Georgie

Dr. Oyakawa, that's an interesting comment about PRK.  I know that LASIK can cause or exacerbate dry eyes, and I would have thought PRK would do the same since it also sculpts the cornea with an excimer laser.  Is that not the case?

Please get a second opinion.  Residual astigmatism will not allow good vision.  You probably have a small amount which can be corrected by an LRI.  However, it you really have dry eyes this will make is worse for a short time.  A better option is probably PRK.
