Retinal Specialist recommendation request

I am hoping to get good recommendations from Docs and patients here on this website for a good and compassionate retinal specialist in New Jersey.  I did a search online.  BUt It would be even better if a doc and/or patient recommended one as well that they have heard of from a friend/patients that they say is really good.

THe Doc I have now is good.  BUt he storms out the door so fast and doesnt bother answering my questions....questions only he can answer.  I am looking to get a second opinion.  So if anyone can recommend a good, patient and compassionate doctor, I would really really appreciate it so very much.

Thank you in advance for your help and recomendation.

Dr. O...please ignore this question as I know you work in Southeren California and dont know anyone in NJ.  I am hoping other Docs and patients might be able to help and address this recommendation.  Thanks sincerely.

Where in Jersey are you? If in northern, my retinal specialist is great. Couldn't ask for a better guy. Dr. Maisel of Rockland Retina. He's honest with you from the get-go, so you don't have expectations that cannot be met. He tells you how it is, but not in a mean way. I like him a lot.

Hi dejayou22....I will look into his website.  I appreciate your input a lot.

I live in central to southern new jersey....close to the woodbridge/freehold/fords area.  If anyone can recommend one closer to this area too that I could look into...I would be so appreciative.

Thanks again in advance to those who could recommend good, compassionate and more patient retinal specialists in the area in NJ I mentioned.
