Rezoom explant results

Had a rezoom inplant a year ago with most of Rezoom follow up problems- then ERM or Macular Pucker surgery in Feb. which went perfect. Vision has improved to 20/30plus  but still have problems noted by Dr. Hagan on post asking to "explain problems with Rezoom" of 6-8-08.  My other eye needs cataract surgery but it also has slight ERM problem and I would like to get Rezoom eye problems corrected before proceeding.  Considering explant so I would like some info. on results of Rezoom explants to a Monofocal iol.    Will appreciate- thanks  duane54 .

Dr R. Feldman of Altmonte Springs, Fl.  did my ERM surgery while in Fl. last winter- any affliation?  Did good job.  I have talked to my cataract surgeon many, many times and he doesn't want me to explant- says he never had to explant before and don't think i would be happy- wants me to use Pilo mix to reduce (and it does) night time problems but it gives me a headache and don't feel right so i stopped using it.      Problem is he don't have to live with these Rezoom conditions.     I am still asking for results of persons having Rezoom explanted to a monofocal- surely there are people out there who have had this done.       duane54

I would recommend that you see your eye MD who performs cataract surgery and discuss the possibilities regarding implant types in your second eye.  There are many types of implants and the choice is going to depend upon your visual expectations, visual needs, hobbies, activities, personality, as well as your eye conditions.
