Left eye is higher than the other on my face?

Right im 17 and i noticed that my eyes are not symetrical. Although i know that no one has perfect symetry i happen to believe my left eye is very noticably higher on my face. I have perfect vision but i have noticed i have a dry right eye and although some call it a bad habit i always have the urge to rub my eyes. I pesonally dont believe this is normal as i think it has progressivly got worse and is something as i hadnt noticed it before.

Try "hypertelorism" with Google or wikipedia.

You could go and see your eye MD to check your dry eye and also ask about hypertelorism.

Thanks for the help. Although ive only had a quick browse on what hyperteleorism is i cannot find any information on it, ive checked all the main British sites i could think of that would show me something but i found no results, is it only something minor? and it would be a great help if you could show me a reliable site that has information on this.

The condition is called hyperteleorism.  If it's always been that way, no problem some people have the condition all their lives. If its developed and gotten worse that is not normal and you should see an oculoplastic surgery. If you live in the USA find one at www.aao.org    When you go in take some good face photos taken 5 to 10 years ago.
