4 months ago an MRI revealed that I have a left occipital lesion. My nuerosurgeon seems to think thats it's cortical dysplasia, since it hasn't changed in 4 months. But the MRI report says that it is either cortical dysplasia or a low grade tumor. I'm afraid it's a low grade tumor causing these visual anomolies, plus I am getting really strange headaches/pressure in the back of my head. My nuerosurgeon keeps telling me it's not becuase of this spot on my MRI. I'm seeing a nuero-opthmamologist next week, hoping to get answers. could this be some virus that has traveled to my brain, lyme, whatever??
Are you sure you have not suddenly become aware of your natural blind spots?
If you are talking about something that is present all the time its quite an unusual complaint. You will need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist for evaluation. Find one at www.aao.org
