YAG laser issue. Permanent silicone oil in eye..
I Silicone oil in both eyes due to severe diabetic retinopathy. I had two unsussfull vitrectomies and had them redone with the silicone oil. After I had about 20/40 vision corrected in one eye with no peripheral vision at all. I am completely dark in my right eye but can still detect light. I developed a large very fast growing cataract and after removal had to have a tag laser a month later. I had almost instant results but within 24 hours my vision is blurry and cloudy again. My vision stands at 20/200 now corrected. I'm at a loss. Is there any hope I can get any better results with any other procedures?
