Transparent body in central vision

In a recent check up with the eye doctor who did my filtration surgery, I noted to him that I have a transparent body in the center of my operated eye.  He said, 'oh thats just the glaucoma'.  He did not look in my eye.  I have read extensively about glaucoma, and nowhere is there reference to a translucent blotch, screen, veil, or other such indicator of glaucoma, particularly at the eye center.  I do have PVD/floaters in that eye.  The translucent body moves with my eye.

What's your opinion?  I've since seen a retina specialist and he's noted the pvd's, veils and other vitreous problems along with slight macular edema but no other macular or retinal disorders.  The retina specialist appeared reluctant to comment on the glaucoma doctors' 'oh that's just glaucoma' comment.  I'm frustrated that I must sort such information out, and I'm just a patient, not a doctor.

I'm sorry I would be guessing. Only a Eye MD that actually examines you and sees the test can tell.

The spot does not show up on an Amsler grid, but the visual field test showed a slight central spot.  The spot does move with the eye and is translucent, but it's structure appears to go from just a blotch to an increasing blurr, akin to how a drying eye loses tears.  Unfortunately, its location and the increasing blurr over a 10 second period forces my brain to fixation, therefore reading is tough.  Any further thoughts/diagnoses?  Could it still be a vitreous floater or is the above info more towards a glaucoma scotoma?

If you spot is always in the same place and shows up on an amsler grid test and visual field that you may be aware of a glaucoma scotoma (blind spot), it the spot moves and is translucent then I would think it was a vitreous gloater.
