Vision problem

I had constant headaces and a double/scew vision in my left eye. It started with the headaces and pain in the eye for almost a week. I went into hospital and the doctors did  brain scans and blood tests etc. They could not find sinusitus, Malaria, or signs of a stroke. They then admit me into hospital and put me onto medication, the headaces stopped, but the vision is still the same. They now put me onto a drip with cortozone. for 5 days I am now on day 3. What could cause this, and what is the best thing to do? Will the medication help the problem, I am very frustrated and worried about this. Just want to know what you think about this.
