What is the procedure for silicone oil removal. lens removal and IOL implant? Does oil come out first or the implant done first? Oil was put in due to a retinal TEAR, not detachment. Thanks

Usually the lens is so cloudy they cannot do the surgery without removing it so its removed first so they can see the back of the eye.
