If I look at a blank surface and blink really hard, I see a lot of stationary dark splotches of various shapes and sizes throughout my visual field. What might these be?

if my eyes were dilated by and eye MD and everything looked good, can i chalk visual phenonema like that up to hypervigillance?

If that's the only time you see them then they would be part of the refocus and reperfusion of the eye. If they change see an Eye MD to rule out intraocular disease.
