dry eye?

I always thought that I just had an eye tic, but lately I realized that there might actually be a problem with my eyes.  They're always tearing and burning, and forget about trying to wear makeup.  It gets worse when i'm watching tv, or on the computer or something.  I went to the eye doctor and he said I had clogged oil glands or something?  Which is probably caused by the accutane I'm taking.  He told me to use a warm compress twice a day, and I have been doing that, sometimes more than twice a day.  But it doesn't seem to be feeling any better :[  Is there anything else I can do?  Like, any type of eye drops or something?

See a Eye MD that specializes in cornea/external disease. Be sure the Eye MD looks at your eye before any drops put in. Be sure tests for dry eyes like the Schirmer Test are done.

I've had dry eye syndrome for several years and have used "Refresh liquidgel" that helps. Mornings and evenings are worse so I put them in at that time. W/o the drops my eyes go through periods with constant tearing due to lack of good-quality tear/film. The eye drops are found over the counter.
