how liekly to have both?

I have recently been diagnosed with both optic neuritis and macular degeneration. I am quite young for mac degen I understand. How likely are htese to occur together?

I was aware of that. I just thought it quite odd to find both in the same visit. I do see my regular eye doc regularly. He did not find either. This was a specialist who caught them.
