Eye redness and puffy outer corner
5 days ago I noticed the outer white part of my eye was really red;there wasn't any major pain, just discomfort. My holistic mother advised to use a chamomile eye wash, which actually did help diminish the redness a bit. Last night, the skin around the outer corner of my eye started to itch a lot; it has now gotten swollen and red. Any advice? Is it serious enough to go to the doctor?
Stop your mother's eye wash. If there is no severe pain or reduced vision and it is getting better you could probably "wait and see what happens" if it gets worse or new symptoms appear see an eye MD ophthalmologist or optometrist
