Most get better and most are vertical diplopia. One exercise which can help is to move from the position of no double to the the direction of double and try to keep the image as one. This exercise should help it improve. I just learned this yesterday from Dr. David Guyton, professor at Johns Hopkins and an expert in this field of optics and strabismus. He assisted me on my first cataract when I was a resident at Hopkins.
Dr. O.
I just had my surgery on Friday and I have double vision as well. I gather that this is common and can go either way - resolve itself - or not. But this is just from my limited conversations in the dr's waiting room with other post-op patients! How are you feeling otherwise?
