should 3 year old with +9,+10.5 have full correction?

My 38 month old child has worn glasses with a full correction of +9 and +10.5.  She has worn these for 2 weeks.  Prior to this we did not know she had a problem, though we were beginning to suspect which is why I took her in.

She puts her glasses on as soon as she wakes up and wears them all day without complaint.  It is clear that she sees much better than without glasses.  A check up today confimed this.  She will be checked again in 2 weeks.  There seems to be no consensus in the literature that I have read about whether to give the full correction.  What would the reasons be for not correcting full?

What benefits are there of correcting full vs. not.

She does not have and did not have any signs of other problems (lazy eye, of turning in)

Thank you

Thank you for the confirmation.  My doctor was told by another to correct at 2/3 but he felt full was best.

It is best to give the full correction in a child this age with this amount of hyperopia.
