sudden blindness

dear dr
my friend is 34.married and she has two children.she is in hospital due to sudden blindness.it happened five days ago.all examinations and tests are normal.in past history her ovarries are removed due to ovarrian cyst.the diagnosis of ophtalmologist is psychologic problem.
can the psychologic problem cause the sudden blindness?
is there correlation between the removal of ovarries and ophtalmologic disease?
                yours faithfully

Psycological causes could be but would be the last thing considered only after all disease causes ruled out.

No association.
