2nd ivf failure

I have been trying to conceive for almost 9 years i was told i have a low egg count and my partner a low sperm count we started icsi last year taking buserelin and gonal f with 12 ec and only 3 out of 9 fertilized and they placed 2 back neither took devastated we were told to take pregnacare so we did and decided to have our 2nd and last try as to go private will be too expensive. I were given the same injections to take with a better effect my scan before ec said i had great quality eggs. went to ec and they retrieved 20 but the sperm were stil the same as last time i thought at least 1 or 2 would of taken but it turns out that none fertilised how can this be, the embriologist said they couldnt find much of the sperm and my eggs were over mature and some under surly they must of known this before my eggs were collected. I am devastated and feel so depressed and dont know what to do can anyone shed some light on this I feel like it was a wasted try

Thank you for your kind words. Are you going to try and do another IVF Protocol/Procedure? My opinion after going through it and also going through Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS). I could not walk, eat right, pee right, and broke out in acne everywhere. Those injections and the trigger shot about killed me. My ovaries felt damaged. I was able to produce 27 eggs. Out of 27 eggs only 2 made it through Blastocyst! After egg retrieval, the fertilized eggs developed into embryos over a period of three days in the laboratory. But had to be frozen because of my OHSS. I feel that's another reason why it was unsuccessful. Like I said I would never go through it again. I'm not trying to scare anyone. And I'll never spend that much money again either.

Please look up Nuvida fertlity...its natural. Women who did ivf failed bt nuvida didnt...she ttc for 7 years...

so sorry to hear your icsi never worked also, I just feel let down because they knew the problem with the sperm after the first attempt of icsi and nothing were said about it afterwards they just let us get on and waste our last chance, my partner wasnt on any medication just pregnacare which is supposed to help boost the sperm with no better results dure-in the 2nd try as it helped me produce more follicles the 2nd time around but were unfertilised and said the eggs were over and under mature but they did a scoring 2 days before egg colection and were told the scores were great.
I hope everthing works out okay for you and your partner in the future as I am praying i can have another chance soon it isnt going to make us give up just yet.

Are the medicines your husband is on. Does it cost him to lose his hair? Is there side effects? I will never understand why doctors never give a plan b or plan c after 1 or 2 failed IVF attempts. Just take the money and run.

I'm so sorry. I know what it's like to have a failed IVF. My husband and I went through ICSI from August 2010-January 2011 and it was unsuccessful. We were devastated for 4 months. We're still trying on our own. Also trying not to think of negative thoughts. I will never put my body through in-vitro ever again. I hope you can get answers because we never did.

I see you said your partner has a low sperm count I have my husband on fertil aid and motility boost if you've tried all the other ivf and stuff you could give this a try along with taking the fertibella yourself JS baby dust to you :)
