I am and have been trying to conceive for about 7 months now. I am 40 and had an ablation April 2010 so any info would be helpful. I want another baby so bad and getting very frustrated that i cant get pregnant.
Congrats and welcome to the forum. The biggest thing you can do is educate yourself, and be your biggest advocate for this little miracle that God has blessed you with. Remember this is not a normal pregnancy in the least.....this has been my issue with my own OBGYN, and will be seeing the high risk dr come Friday and can't wait.... Post as much or as often as you need, thats what this forum is for. Again, welcome to the forum.
I think stress and anxiety just go hand in hand with this preganancy for us all....I know you have been diagnosed with accrete, is that why the worry of early delivery or just the standard after ablation? Keep posting, that's why we are all on the forum to help and encourage one another.
Hello ladies, I know I being post a lot lately, I gues is my way to deal with anxiety... =)))
I just finish to make the hospital bags for me and my baby, the High Risk doctor told me to be ready for the high chance that I have for early delivery, I hope it won't happen, but it is done any way.
I have a appoinment on friday to set the delivery plan, I feel like this pregnancy is being sooooo long, I try to enjoy it as much as possible, and not to worry much, but sometimes is a bit tricky.
No much to report, talk to you soon.
27 Weeks, 2 Days and countting... =))))))))))
Hello and welcome, you make me remember so much to myself, 9 months after I got the ablation (also for heavy periods) I was feeling so sick, I must did drink around 3 bottles of pepto bismol, and the only reason I took a home pregnancy test was to probe my husband wrong .... jaja... it back fire to me, I am 42 years old, and have 4 healthy kids, I was done with babies... I was 11 weeks pregnant and I had my periods every month.
Righ now I am 27 weeks, I never imagine being on this journey...
My word to you on this early start is get informed, you may have to make some decisions, and I beleive a informed decision is the best.
We have over 1000 post here, I did read them all, the most you know the best you will use your time with the doctor.
The first question that a ob ask me on my first visit was: " do you want to terminate the pregnancy?? "
This is an example that from the very first visit I had to make a very important choice, my answer was: " as long as the baby is ok, I will keep going ", that was my choice, everyone is different, just get informed, and you will come up with questions to your doctor.
Most of us didn't plan this, but we all share the journey and support each other.
Welcome again, and keep us posted on your ob visit.
My best wishes.... =).
Hello, thanks to take time and share an update.
It is always a happy moment when you hear from happy moms and healthy babies.
It gets my hopes high and puts a smile on my face.
My best wishes for you and your family.
