JUST got back from Dr for pregnancy test ~ HOPING it is a DEFINITE POSITIVE!! ~

No didn't do the double IUI this time ~ even HAD TO SUGGEST the injectibles (thanx to THIS site ~ they're just pushing the donor eggs) ~ have to have a meeting with Dr/Dh to discuss next step ~ he wants to settle for donor egg due to time running out of being covered by INS ~ BUT I WANT MY DNA in the baby too ~ and don't think the "Dr's" are doing THEIR ALL ~ I mean WTF WHY do I have to ASK THEM to do the different treatments ~ instead of them OFFERING THEM TO ME?

ANYONE have any comments on what other next steps should be taken so I can make notes for the meeting..??..

I say goes as many times as you can. If they will do it...go for it. Are you doing injectable IUI's? You can sometimes get better response then from Clomid only. Sorry you got that BFN, but go for until you can't anymore. At least that is what I'm going to do. ;o)

I'm so sorry to hear the news! DId yall do double IUI this time?   Do yall have unexplained fertility?  Good luck, it will happen! I'll keep yall in my thoughts and prayers to get that bfp!!!!

Just got the cal ~ BFN ~ :( ~ now another conference with the Dr's ~ will try and coerce them into another session possible double IUI ~ don't know what next step should be ~ anyone...(except site Dr who says WE CAN'T~)~...??..

Hi Jackson!  Good luck to you on your test!

I don't totally agree with the nurse on that one.  If you test WAY too early, then yes, it can be inaccurate, especially with false negatives.  The HCG trigger shot stays in your system about 10 days, so you have to wait to test until after that, but, I know I've tested prior to blood tests and gotten a BFP with a FRER on 10 or 11 dpo and they were both absolutely accurate.  Oh, and the hundreds of negatives I got on a busted cycle were also completely accurate!!

Always go with a FRER.  They are WICKED sensitive!  Much more than they advertise, actually.

~~>Oh and forgot to tell ALL the Nurse laughed at the OTCPT ~ and all of us who use them pre-blood tests ~ said it's cheating ~ but everyone does it ~ and if you're on the meds it won't be accurate!! ~ FYI ~
