2ww iui

I have never done this before, but I need support and having a hard time finding it in people who just don't understand. Here's my story, me and DH have been ttc for 1 1/2 years. I was daignosed with Uterus Didelphys, which is basically I have 2 uteruses, 2 cervixs, and 2 vaginas(internal). I was told this is not a factor of infertily but rather a hit or miss so it may take longer than "normal" people. Because you never know which side you are ovulating. I tried 4 months clomid with regular OB, with no success. Then was referred to RE this past month. Just had my first IUI on the 16th, and I am having horrible AF cramps. I know the IUI didn't work because the AF cramps I got yesterday are typical ones I get every month about a week before I start. I just so want a BFP to show up and for the cramps to be pregnancy cramps. Has anyone else experienced sharp cramp pains after IUI?

nikkinikki I don't understand progesterone numbers, what is good? I never got my progesterone tested. I use prog suppositories after IUI and doc feels it is enough prog getting into my system without needing blood work. Can anyone guide as to this?

Good luck! get some rest, I also had a lot of cramping with my IUI. The nurses said that any symptoms/changes were a good thing. I hope your 2ww goes fast and you get that baby you are hoping for =)  Keep posted about symptoms!

ust received a call with my progestrone bw results....25.6!!!! So please keep me in your prayers...I go for my preggo test 12/28...

Can someone tell me the difference in progestrone numbers and hcg numbers???

Hi there!  I'm back home after the IUI. It went ok. Now feel cramping and fatigue. Gonna rest it off.
Hope the 2ww is not too bad on all of you.

Hello All,

I had my 1st IUI done on the 16th. I got 2morrow for progestrone bw ...then pregnancy test on 12/28/09. I am very nervous...I do have doubts but I am putting my faith in the Lord!

I have been having on and off pinches...but not much. The weird thing that happened to me on the 20th...I had severe cramping and I thought i had to use the ladies room but that was not the case. I literally hadd to breathe n and out to relieve the pain! it lasted for about 5min. I have not noticed any symptoms after my trigger shot is that normal??

Hi Ladies! I am also in my 2ww. I had my 2nd IUI with clomid and trigger shot on 12/14. I am feeling a lot more cramping this time than last ( so lets hope thats a good thing!) The 2ww is so tough, but having forums like this really helps a lot. I am trying to stay positive and DH is really helping a lot. The only thing that concerns me is my bbt, it is not really rising all that much ( staying consistent at 97.9) . Anyone else ever heard of a BFP without a huge rise in BBT? baby dust to all!

Good Luck Sammy_J, hope all goes well. I am still having horrible cramps today, it hurts to bend over. I hope it is not af! This 2ww is definitely horrible!  I don't know what it is about the IUI and why it causes so much cramping.

My IUI is scheduled on wednesday so I'll be hopping onto the 2ww train soon.
I had an IUI last month but didn't work.

I as well have never done this before and are looking to confide in people that understand, My husband and I have been together for 17 yrs ,, I am 35 and have never been PG.. and he has no children either,so will be first for both, I just had my first IUI on the 18 of Dec I will find out on 01-01-10, I have  had the  cramps you are referring to , breast are sore .. all the norm to prepare for AF.. althought last night I woke up and ran to bathroom around 12 am, vomiting .. I never vomit .. ever .. so Im hoping that this is a good sign?? could it be ?? 3 days after first IUI??  I hope that it works out for you as well..
