3 days post iui, would like anyone also during this 2ww

Okay, so I feel like I am going to go CRAZY during this aweful 2ww.  Why is it that life seems to be going by soo quick any other time, except for now of coarse?!? LOL!  Maybe b/c this is my first real chance in 4 yrs to have a pos. hpt, but I feel I am definately getting antsy.  I would ask if anyone has any symptoms, (I'm pushing it I know).  I don't, but it would be great to have someone else to talk to.

I am sorry to hear that AF arrived.  I know how it feels.  I am back on injections again.  I get such bad headaches and dizziness with them.  I am trying to stay positive though.

All -- thanks for your support and kind words.  I am moving forward today and focusing on the next cycle.  I will be going to the RE tomorrow for baseline blood work and u/s to start this next round.  I just needed a day to be bummed.  My DH kept saying that he wanted an Oct baby and Jan/Feb would give us that....maybe he'll get his wish :)

B74 -- I am sorry that AF came for you also.  It is a disappointment.  I understand your concerns with the IVF.  It is a big expense and is a huge decision to make, but would be worth it in the end if you get a BFP.

chelle1109 -- Did you have a trigger shot with your IUI?  I did and then used the Prometrium suppositories and I my bbs were very sore.  That is what is so hard and different for people going through the infertility, your body is on so many hormones that it is hard to determine if it is pregnancy symptoms or just the meds.  I have found it to be very frustrating.

Got my Period. So sad. I start the process for my 1st IVF On monday. Found out my insurance is not covering it or the drugs. BIG expense for us. Three drugs and the put me on birthcontrol to make my ovaries rest for a week. A lot to deal with.

JFisch- How are you doing?

Trying to stay positive. Hope you all are doing better than me. My husband has been great... i feel bad about the amount of money... but I guess what can you... I guess that what savings is for.
Happy New Years girls and I hope it is GREAT year in 2009 for all of us.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!  Here's to many babies in 2009!!!!!
Welcome chelle1109!  You are soooo going to get pregnant!  My husband and I have been married for 8 years and have never used birth control.  We couldn't figure out why we weren't getting pregnant.  In February I had the same procedures you had.  A month later I was pregnant.  Sadly, we lost the baby after 3 months.  We still don't know why, but we got pregnant and for that I am thankful.  I do know from genetic testing that our baby was a little girl.  I was due on Dec. 22 so this month has been rather difficult for me.  I am trusting that the IUI procedure I had done on Christmas Eve will be a success.

The funny thing was that my husband knew I was pregnant before I did.  I was eating Caesar salad like there was no tomorrow.  I am a teacher, and the week before our spring break I was at by OBGYN's office for a follow-up and I told him of all these symptoms.  I thought the progesterone cream he put me on was causing all these symptoms.  My husband asked my doc if I could be pregnant, and I yelled at my husband in the doctor's office.  I said, "It would be that easy!  Are you crazy! Nothings that easy!"  Guess I was a little moody too.  LOL.  Turned out I was pregnant.  The only other symptom I had was toward the time I should have started my cycle I had a tiny little cramp.  I remember going to the restroom and thinking, what was that?  Best of luck to you.  My fellow teachers and I call the procedure you and I had done "blowin' out your tubes".  To give you even better news another teacher of mine just had the same procedure done 2 months ago and she's pregnant.  I have a good feeling about you.  GOOD LUCK!!! Keep us all posted!

JFisch-I am so sorry.  I'm still 9 days out from my test day, but I am both dreading and anticipating that day.  We're here for you!

PrayersDreams, I am right there with you girl!  Could these days be any longer!!!! To make matters worse another second is being added to the atomic clock this year to account for the earth's rotation slow down or something.  As if our waits aren't long enough! LOL- go figure!  If I don't laugh I will cry!
