Any tips for nausea?

Hi everyone! I'm just past 6 weeks pregnant and already experiencing extreme nausea. I'm nervous that I'm not eating enough (and certainly not eating healthy foods), but I just can't stomach much other than crackers right now. Any tips for reducing the nausea? Is it normal to have around this time? Thanks!

eat first thing when you wake like a banana, and keep eating and it will ease! people say protein is good like eggs and cheese, which i learnt worked. if it is very bad your doctor may be able to prescribe anti sickness tablets

I tried all the things people tell you to do (the pressure point bracelets, the anti-nausea suck candy, ginger, eand nothing work :p
My doc prescribed a med that took the edge off a little bit - maybe ask about that.
I was so nauseated I lost 13pounds my first trimester.  It does get better I promise! by week 17 or so I feel 100times better.  Best wishes!

It's very common to experience nausea in early pregnancy.

When I was pregnant, I used candied ginger. (or ginger of any kind). You can also get those bracelets you put on your wrists on pressure points. I never used them myself, but I know a few women who have used them and they say they work great.

The big thing is to stay hydrated. Drink lots and lots of water. You lose a lot of fluid if you're vomiting. And also make sure you take a prenatal vitamin daily
