CD 6 on Gonal - f

I am on CD 6. Had been to meet RE today. Said have many small follicles but didnt say anything much about it. Also on CD 3. I had 8 on right and 10 on left. I am on Gonal-f taking 75. My doc asked me to continue with 75 since he doesnt want to overdo it. Is this normal that even on CD6 I have no. of small follicles? I am not feeling comfortable at all. I had only 1 clomid cycle and it didnt work at all.

I am not sure but I just thought I will continue in the same post.

I had a appt with my RE today. I have two egss on Left with 16 mm each. She said I might just need one more shot of Gonal-f and than Ovidrel. Just 2 eggs are there any chances of pregnany for this cycle. I thought @least 3 would be the best bet. My  RE asked me to come on sunday. Since I am not here in the City on Sunday I said I cant. Is it possible if I could come tomorrow or monday she said its ok. But I am not sure now. Prob I should have agreed to her.

You will probably have more response after they increase your dose.  It's good that you have a lot of follies, but if they up your dose, hopefully it will get them to grow a lot more and quickly.  I did 75 IU's of Follistim and got 2 follies, one was 17 and the other 13 1/2 when I did the Ovidrel Trigger it was 2 days later... so I'm assuming the 13 1/2 took off too (hopefully!!)

I think natural IUI. I am not sure exactly abt IUI.I am just taking Gonal-f and later Oviderl. And after that we have to try on our own.

I'm guessing that when the dr. told you that there was "nothing much," he meant that the follicles were very small still. I don't think they pay attention to any that are less than 10 mm. I don't think this cycle is going to be wasted necessarily. You may just respond to the higher dosage and have a successful cycle, so don't give up! Are you doing IUI or IVF? Best of luck :)

Today is my CD 8. Had been to meet the doc. When he did sono he said there are nothing much on right and on left there are two. I was not sure So I asked him what is the size of the follicles. He said 8mm and 10mm. So he said he will increase the dosage but he will wait to get the estrogen level. So I got call from docs office in the after noon asking me to increase it to 112 units. However I asked nurse abt exactly the level of e2 she said on CD6 it was 84.8 and today its 84.3. So Doc wants me to increase. However When I asked abt the follicles. She said there are 10 small on right as well as 10 on left but there are small. Some times they confuse me so much. The doc says something else and the nurse says something else. Does anyone have idea if this is good ? Somehow I feel this cycle is going to be a waste. I dont think anything will happen. This is so frustrating

I was on 75 of Follistim, I think it's very similar.  I didn't have any measurable follies until CD 8.  Even then, they were like 13 mm.  CD 10 I had 2 follies measurable at 17mm, and 13 1/2, and several other smaller ones.

I'm assuming you've only taken 3 injections so far if you started on day 3? If so, I don't think you'd see much growth just yet. I usually started off that way too, and for my IVF ended up producing 30 eggs! Good luck and take it easy :)
