Anyone successful after a uterine septum?

After my D&C for my second miscarriage in 6months, my MD wants to check me for a uterine septum with an ESG.  She also noted that I had one somewhat large fibroid on my uterus (they hadn't seen that during my first pregnancy/miscarriage)

Has anyone here had either of these issues cause miscarriages/infertility? How was the treatment?  Did you fo on to achieve a successful pregnancy (naturally or with IUI/IVF?)

thanks for your help

I got pregnant and delivered with fibroids. There are three types, those inside the uterus, those in the muscle of the uterus and those outside the uterus. the ones that can prevent a pregnancy are those inside the uterus. Check which type you are, if ou have the other two, if should not impact your pregnancy and you would not need to remove them.

I recently had a polyp removed prior to my ivf...which I thought originally was a fibroid but was wrong.
I have my D&C tomorrow although I think I may have passed it today.  I am really nervous & Anxious to start again.  I am almost 38 so I hope I don't have any problems.  Dr is optimistic that I would be able to get pregnant again..but of course no guarentees.

What is a uterine septum????
