Blood progesteron at 29.3

Hello there. I would like to get any information possible.  I am 42 and have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now.  I finally met with my doctor and we're starting with some simple blood tests.  The first blood test I took was the progesteron on day 21.  Since i saw him a few days after my period had finished, he said we'll do the progesterone test first and then the FSH and another one (I can't remember right now) on day 3 after my next cycle.  So I called the doctor yesterday and the nurse said my progesterone came back at 29.3 on day 21.  That's all she could tell me and the doctor wouldn't be in til next week.

From what I've read all over the internet it sounds like I may be pregnant? Or am I interpretting this information incorrectly.  Apparently anything over 10 is good to have to know you've ovulated.  But I read anything over 20 means you're probably pregnant.

Just a little confused. I appreciate your feedback.
Thank you,

Progesterone level above 10 means you ovulated.  It does not mean you are pregnant, just like sarge1 said.  To check whether you are pregnant you need to measure hcg along with your progesterone.
Good luck to you!

unfortunately progesterone levels do not indicate pregnancy or not; although, it would be nice, no one would have to go through the dreaded 2ww, we'd all just know on day 21. .  Your level does show you ovulated.  Here's a chart I have used in the past-it gives hormone levels and information http://www.****.org
good luck!
