Cancelled IUI - where is my period!!?

Hi there

I wonder if anyone can help - I had planned to do my second IUI this month - took burselin from day 21 previous cycle to day 10 (when I had my follicle scan) and also gonal f injections. At my scan I was told that I had a few follicles - 12/13 and a good few more small ones on one side, and then a size 22 on the other. The consultant said this was too inconsistent with the other ones and it may have been a cyst, so he cancelled the cycle and I stopped the meds and was told not to take the trigger injection... that's fine, although I am now on day 38 (normal cycle is 27-29dys) and no sign of my AF. Has anyone experienced this and have the meds completely messed me up?? Am eager to get onto the next cycle! Also took a HPt 3 days ago and it's negative, which I thought anyway.

Anything else I can do?

Thanks a million

Hi I had an IUI procedure done in may and it did not work for me,my next period came on 3rd june and it was when it should have been.I am regular like clock work and have had no problems since having the IUI.I had gonal f injections and the trigger shot along with the IUI.Some people i hear can have problems related to the injections and trigger shot affecting their next cycles but for me it did not do anything to alter my cycle.Hope that helps hun xx

I never did iui, but found that my following cycle was always messed up. possible related to not having had a trigger, so ovulation has been delayed, causing your entire cycle to blow out.

report it to your RE, but don't panic, it will come.
